Still very much temporary until we finalize the building, schedules and layouts , but we are well on the way.

Hunting walls and outside clips...

as well as deep in clips.

Hoping to create a genuine scale "Feel" to this track.

I think we are in the zone.

It wasn't only me getting in on the action.

Loaning out my chassis for all to try. 

Even on the first day and a temporary layout, smiles galore.

Concrete colour is fairly dark grey and doesn't have that sand yellow colour. 

After adding the tape guide outline, i couldn't help but start a bit of decoration.

Which immediately helped the imagery.

Realistic Error... game over.

There's still a lot of this at the moment. and my wing didn't fair so well. Can't resist the edges.

But the tandems are already back to being manageable.

Twin drift action.

With the small venue 11x5ish max usable surface area requires technical style.

About the only negative, is a bit of abrasion. Tyre marbles will build up nicely.

But  for the end result, I am more than happy to replicate reality.

Countryside Drive.

What line would you run this countyside drive?


Drifters love their country roads and some shorts straights are definitely also part of it. True 90 degree T intersections and undulations are unavoidable. Hills are also massive part of any road that contains my favorite corners.  As I think about what a drift track might resemble. I chopped up the elements and when I joined them together it looked pretty normal.

Where can I build it?  In the country?

GCRC Take One!

Yep... Tonight was Amazing.

The mods to the RX3 must be cosmetic only or the old guy in the 45 year old Gemini has tuned the gemini a little!

Yes... 13b PP and a stripped bare lightweight might be enough to battle a grunty ER34.

The tow hook should be enough to tell it means business. Surely.

Thanks everyone for the long and short trains and one on one battles.

I was having a ball chasing and being chased.

Next week, the gem might get it's coppertone brother battle partner.

but until then there's no shortage of challengers. A huge thanks to my photographer.  I'm scarcely lucky to get shots of my cars in action.
