GCRC Last Tuesday - Part#1 The Scene

GCRC Training is just one part of a Tuesday night. 

Tonight, I just wanted to have fun, play and make the most of my time. 

It's start to hit home, that this venue is really closing.  

The 6 moon lineup included some new eyes of death.

Rocking out with opposite and matching machines.

Tonight I captured some I RO HA 168 style video footage to come through the long lens.

Kaine was flying the flag!

In a Japanese Skyline with a Chinese panda at the wheel.  

With a monster Turbo on show.!

It was a great night and there is video to come.

But tonight was battle night.   Next post is battle time.

GCRC! THE ONE AND ONLY!

These group car shots represent more than just a display of cool machines.

They highlight some passionate enthusiasts with a serious addiction.  Re-creating replica vehicles with incredible details.

There's always people behind these machines and images. Driving and Building. Tuning and Selecting. And often spending more time and money on these than their real drift cars.

Inspiring all.

to go that extra yard in search of that something special.

These twins showcase that addiction, but it's also a celebration by using your expensive personal masterpiece to it's ultimate drift demise.

My Mechanic has been working hard to get the imadoki working well.

S14 is just the icing on the cake.

My S14 sit's atop my Drift Package Imdoki aka DP-R. Basically the same as the New Yokomo DP-R release coming next year. 

So thats the RWD.

When not behind the camera, I was mashing it up with the mad octopus.

In R34 and Escort Mode.



Did a bit of tuning with the GPX and just chatting.

GCRC Tarmac Rally

Drift or Tarmac Rally... It's a FACE OFF!

260ZX was a rally winner.

The Mark II Escorts also blazed a winning trail.  

Two fantastic machines for a bit of slide-ways action.

Joined by the Gemini, grass, dirt, or asphalt are no distraction.

Some cars can take to the grass. better than others.

Another new machine on debut. This one is tarmac only.

I thought I had taken more shots today... I had every intention... but the heat of the day and other distractions like incredible driving made up for it.

GCRC Kinyoubi Kick Ass!

Friday is Kinyoubi. And Kinyoubi Kicked Ass.

A good 3 hour open attack session was fun. I released the black beast on the attendees.

The black FD3s has a SSG and red alloy skeleton with red Accuvance heart and Sanwa brain. The blood bag has just been updated.

Venom 3800mah lipo blood flows through the veins.

GCRC stocking a massive range of these packs. It's good to have quality alternatives as used by racers.

My RED Overdose DRB is tricky to drive but it brings rewards when driven with very little throttle application.

Full power is always "in reserve".

I have some big plans for my DRBs in the near future.


And so... we line up for battle.

My FD3s looks so small beside this skyline. You need to watch your spacing as the 4 door boot sways in front of you.

A bit of young blood on track today.

I have to push pretty hard to keep up with the young guys and their amazing reflexes.

Had some awesome laps tonight.

Everyone was driving well.
