GCRC Last Sturday - Part #2 Drift Supercars

GCRC Drift Supercars always presents a cool image.

The relationship to something real is unquestionable, but unlike a victory drift lap, This is drift every lap.

While we had some good three way battles. Of course I can't photograph myself.

GCRC Last Sturday - Part #1 San-Ni Ni-San

GCRC regulars are still pumping out new machines.

The motivation is still there.

Since I developed the DRB-REW and found a nice body shell for them, I've been honored that the guys have joined the team spirit.

Not only DRB-REW but also MST RMX , R3R and other CS cars joining in. 

We have been getting some awesome imagery on track. 

While not everyone likes the R32, the Nissan theme is especially strong at GCRC. ER34.

And C33 also running hard.

Some others running a more normal street look. 

but when the A~Bo~Moon set are in the train. it looks awesome.

4 R32s just here, but all Nissan.

Latest DRB-REW + R-SanNi owner is Jason-san. 

Rocking some deep Sparco NT rims on this "protoyype" looking shell.

The Matt black is a good looker.

GCRC Friday Lumberjacks

Arrived Late... then 2 hours of constant door to door with some added extras.  Great Night.

Apologies to others tonight, I only pulled out the camera when my transmitter battery died. Couldn't stop. Probably THE most fun I have ever had.

After a few dozen laps absolutely inseperable, We saw the other track was free. Due to slightly extra grip on this side, CS is quite difficult but RWD laps it up. It's always had a dual use. D1 or Beginners. 

These two cars are so short. The rear of the WRX and the front of the Altezza are literally a single inch when the transitioning. After some amazing battles and the tightest of tightest transitions.We wanted another challenge.  

Drifting side by side through this tent was easily achieved. Then it escalated.

Eventually. Becoming rally style drift between trees, past 10 trees with tiny margins and more... Superb fun and skill building. I hope to see some video soon.
